Kitas Krantas (Other Shore) (2013)

Thanks to Cold Tear Records for pointing this one out. A 19 track dub techno compilation of Lithuanian based artists including Giriu Dvasios and Vytis along with some names new to me. Sounds like a nice journey.

It's a 'Name Your Price' offer but you know the drill.

And, speaking of Vytis, two new releases dropped on his Silverfield Records label.

Vytis - Dub Quarry and Crystallized

I discovered Vytis, as I have discovered many new artists, on multiple dub techno compilations and his sound always stood out. He released Deepchord Avenue on the Cold Tear Records label and he now has a new label of his own, Silverfield Records, where two new releases have dropped.

Though both are 'Name Your Price' as always I encourage showing some real support so the music can continue.

From Lithuania, as is Cold Tear Records label founder Giriu Dvasios, Vytis now resides in Ireland. Making and releasing music isn't a cheap endeavor so if you're a fan of crowd funding, you can support him

Vytis- Underground Movement (2013)

Vytis, another dub techno favorite whose works appear on various netlabels, strays from the usual and heads to Detroit.

Vytis - Deepchord Avenue (2013)

Not sure if this is a tribute to Deepchord (with a name and sound like this how could it not be?) but it seemed a fitting drop on the day that the echospace bandcamp page went live.

Hard to stand out in the dub techno universe when any knob twiddler skilled with Ableton can drop some chord progressions and bass lines and call it dub techno but every so often an artist rises above the din. Vytis is one of them. Every release he puts out is quality and he continues to refine his craft.

This from the Cold Tear Records label, one of the best dub techno netlabels out there, run by label owner Giriu Dvasios, who, like Vytis, comes highly recommended.

Vytis - Mind Voyage (2012)

Easily one of the best dub techno releases of recent memory. Contains remixes by John Ov3rblast and Giriu Dvasios (as well as a track named for him).

Dvasios' album Esu also comes with a high, high recommendation. While it is slated to be released in June for free I can't encourage everyone enough to show some genuine support. Be selective but be intentional.

For those who don't know Dvasios is the founder and head of Cold Tear Records, hands down one of the best netlabels out there.
