Gridlock

Unfortunately labeled as IDM (all labels are delimiting - "there are already too many names, it's time to stop", DDJ, 32), this album remains a classic no matter how it's tagged.  There is magic in this one.

Contains the full album plus the extended version of the last track only available on the vinyl release (plus a little bonus).

Essential.

  1. Nice, I'll have to check this out. Is there a d/l link?

And, yea, labels suck. I like the idea of "it's time to stop" but its hard to put into practice. People like categories. My ears perk up when i see the ambient tag, even though that is as broad as the sea.

  2. Good point about labels. I'm a sucker for 'dub techno'.

Go ahead and enlarge the photo, should be good to go now. Thanks for the heads up!

  3. Cool, thanks for the link. I see that you put a couple tracks from the Travel Sickness comp, do you perchance have the whole compilation on flac/mp3? I almost bought it when it came out, and have been kicking myself ever since. I found a mediocre mp3 five years ago, but lost them in a harddrive crash. I'd love to hear them again.
