DJ Krush - Krush (Vinyl) (1994)

This is a 24 bit FLAC rip of the original vinyl version on the Nippon Columbia label out of Japan.

His second solo release, this is the one that would eventually make him a household name.

It contains one song that was excised from the U.S. release issued on Shadow Records (an Instinct Records sub-label) and has a different track order.

As was increasingly the case throughout the 90s, the most likely reason was licensing costs as the track featured Guru from Gang Starr.

Essential on every level.

Option 1:

Part1//Part2//Part3//Part4//Part5//Part6

If that doesn't work, try Option 2:

Part1//Part2//Part3//Part4//Part5//Part6

(You'll need 7-zip to unpack Option 2: free download HERE)

  4. Bummer. I'll try and re-up these first chance I get. Might try a different zip program or file host.

If you have time, you might try downloading them again (if you haven't already).

Not sure if its the RAR file or the host but sometimes that fixes the issue...

    It's a big ol' file isn't it?

    Thanks for the heads up.

  5. Thanks for all the excellent music. Had the same problem with broken files until I put all the .rar files in one folder then double clicked or opened No1 file and they all opened seamlessly. Am about to donate also.

  7. "Option 2" unpacked fine for me using betterzip on the mac.

Does anyone here know if me converting these to 44.1/16 lossless files is technically ok?

I know I'd be losing that super high end goodness, I've done it in the past and the files sound fine to me (but my speakers/ears) aren't good enough to tell the difference if there was any there.
