    Hi, can you tell me what application opens an RAR file? iTunes doesn't seem to like it. thanks

    RAR files are akin to ZIP files. They need extracted to be played.

    You'll have to find a copy of the WinRAR program. You can find "shareware" versions out there if you look a little.

    There are probably others but that's the one I use.

    iTunes won't do anything with it until it's extracted.
